The Old Mill Museum, 242
Toledo Street, Dundee, MI is hosting a Museum
Appreciation Day on Sunday, September 27th. From
noon to 4 pm, the public is invited to a party.
The museum wants to thank residents and visitors
for their past support and to encourage everyone
to visit their admission-free museum.
Visit the Archives for genealogy information,
including obituaries, photos, school information
and much more. See the unveiling of our latest
archival item, a framed pennant of the original
Dundee High School.
Guided tours will be provided and light
refreshments will be served in the Busz Room,
named for the museum’s founder, Marge Busz.
Current exhibits include:
- Mary Powell unique musical instruments
collection
- Women’s needlework including crocheted
pincushions and tatting instructions
- Life before electricity exhibits on the second
floor, including an 1859 map of Monroe County
with Dundee insets
- Pottawatomi reservation exhibit on the third
floor, including beadwork created by the late
Patti Pilbeam
The museum is barrier free and has elevator
access
to the second and third floors.
